New funding could be made available for transportation, either by raising existing fees or taxes or creating new revenue streams.

The options below are not the only ones. But during the development of the Long Range Transportation Plan, stakeholders found some of these more palatable than others. It is likely that other funding ideas and sources will arise out of the T-LINK task force.

KDOT is not advocating these options. They are presented here only to illustrate potential sources of revenue to support the Kansas transportation system.
