Welcome to the T-LINK Calculator, an interactive tool that allows you to create your own theoretical Kansas transportation program.
You can develop your budget by making assumptions about current funding sources and choosing from a variety of potential new funding options by making changes to the "Revenues" tab. Then you can allocate funding on a variety of transportation modes on the "Local Roads", "Modes", and "State Highways" tabs.
By default, the Calculator is in "BASIC Mode." In Basic mode, the Calculator makes a series of assumptions based on your answer to one question. The individual assumptions will be shown below, and can be accessed by clicking on the "Switch to "ADVANCED Mode" button. You can toggle between Basic and Advance modes at any time.
The purpose of the Calculator is to simulate the experience of creating an example transportation program for Kansas that reflects the priorities and values of each user - and at the same time can provide valuable feedback to the T-LINK task force. The Calculator is for illustrative and education purposes only.
